The Hermanu Experience takes visitors through the journey that transforms freshly harvested olives into extra virgin olive oil. It is a simple, well-organised and immersive visit, created to share the production process, the local culture and the identity of Ogliastra.
Along the route, each point of interest inside the mill has its own QR code. Visitors simply scan it with their smartphone to open the dedicated page, listen to the audio guide and read the explanation for that stage.
Visitors are welcomed inside the olive mill and introduced to a route designed to tell the story of Hermanu, the cooperative and its territory.
Every stage has a dedicated QR code. The content is opened only when visitors reach that specific point of the tour.
The narration accompanies the visit with short, clear and engaging explanations, without distracting from the real experience inside the mill.
The route is divided into eight stages, each focused on a specific moment of the experience: from the welcome to the production process, from storage to the final tasting. Visitors move at a relaxed pace, following the natural order of the visit and discovering, step by step, the value of Hermanu extra virgin olive oil.
Each stage is available in both Italian and English, making the experience accessible to international guests. The written text gives visitors the chance to read the explanation again, while the audio guide makes the tour more natural and enjoyable.
This visit is not only about production. It tells the story of a land, a cooperative and a way of making olive oil that is deeply connected to Ogliastra. The route becomes a chance to discover the mill, understand the value of the oil and enjoy an authentic moment of culture and tradition.
At the end of the tour, the experience may continue with a tasting dedicated to Hermanu extra virgin olive oil and the flavours of the local area. It is an opportunity to taste the product, get to know the cooperative more closely and experience the olive mill not only as a place of production, but also as a place of culture, hospitality and tradition.
Discover the olive mill up close, listen to the story behind each stage and enjoy an authentic journey in the land of centenarians.
